what is this?

As I've been painting recently I have found more control when I try less to control... it's awkward... I am inclined to refer to images and to attempt to duplicate, but when I do that, the images don't look good... then, if I simply go with what feels right, the gestures form exactly what i hoped they would and I am satisfied with the results. I am thrilled with my latest efforts as such. I am learning to listen to my heart and not use my eyes!!!
