printmaking workshop... drawing workshop

This fall is my last semester at UMass Boston... I have two art classes in addition to the Baroque Art History and Cultural Anthropology courses. For the drawing workshop I am considering a review and in depth exploration of doodles. That's right, doodles and doodling. I have historically doodled on my notebooks during lectures... and for this workshop I am considering these drawings and how they are created and what influences designs and details.... through experiment and exploration I hope to give more weight to this important part of my drawing and art experience. For printmaking I am looking at negative space... in figure drawing or landscape... maybe both, maybe both together... maybe white on black, considering alternative paper sources, such as cork board, canvas, sheets, etc.
